Collegeville Garage Gets New Floor Coating
This garage in Collegeville, Pennsylvania gave their old concrete floor a face-lift with a brand new epoxy floor coating by STRONGHOLD FLOORS. The installation for this smaller, two-car garage took one and a half days - the typical amount of time required for this type of job. With almost no cracks or spalling in the concrete, the job went smoothly and quickly.
The decorative chip flooring in this garage is comprised of:
- Base coat: 100% solids, medium gray epoxy with full broadcast of chips.
- Top coat: Clear polyaspartic with 46 grit aluminum oxide.
- System color: Somerset 1/4'' decorative chip blend on medium gray.
The process for this garage floor coating was similar to most of our residential garage projects. After the homeowner requested a free quote, one of our experienced territory managers contacted them. A site visit was then arranged and we provided a written quote. The homeowner accepted our quote, called for installation dates, and then received our contract which again notes the project prices with installation dates.
