Project Description
Installed: Epoxy Coatings at Lisburn Community Fire Company (Lisburn, Cumberland County), Pennsylvania near Mechanicsburg and Camp Hill.
Day 1 – Remove old epoxy paint and repair cracks
This older station house has concrete floors which previously had been painted and striped. Over time, nearly all of the epoxy paints have worn off. In addition, use of tire chains had caused minor damage to a few areas of the floor.
Using our planetary diamond grinders, one of our Mechanicsburg crews ground off all remaining epoxy paint and stripes in the first two bays. The expansion joints between the slabs were also dressed and cracks chased.
Day 2 – Complete surface preparation and apply epoxy primer
