Project Description
Stone Flake blend used in this Lancaster Garage
Installed Location: Lancaster (Lancaster County), Pennsylvania
This three car, Lancaster garage needed some help with it’s floor. Over the years, the concrete stained from oil, grass and rust. The control joints were unsightly. The concrete’s surface had worn in some areas and was beginning to show more damage from road salts and tire abrasion.
System Description: The decorative chip floor coating in this garage is comprised of:
- Base coat: 100% solids, Phaser Tan epoxy with full broadcast of stone blend flakes.
- Top coat: Clear Polyaspartic with 46 grit aluminum oxide
System Color: Obsidian Stone Blend 1/4″
System Usage: This is a daily use garage with two vehicles driving and parking on the coatings.

Obsidian Stone Blend (flakes only)
Our Pennsylvania crew returned the following morning to apply the polyaspartic, thick, clear top coat, which seals and protects the floor system.
Other Epoxy Coatings in Lancaster garages
Since 2004, we have installed over 3,000 garages in Pennsylvania – a large portion of which are in Lancaster county. Besides Lancaster garages, we have installed dozens in Lititz. The Bent Creek golf community has over 20 homes which feature our garage floor coatings. Only Cumberland county has a greater concentration of our customers in Pennsylvania.
Other Lancaster garages include homes located in Columbia, Mountville, Millersville, Quarryville, Akron, Denver, Mount Joy, Manheim, Ephrata, Elizabethtown, Marietta and Strasburg. We even have Lancaster garage coatings in some of the smaller areas of Bainbridge, Bird-in-Hand, Conestoga, East Earl, Landisville, Leola, Morgantown, Rheems, Ronks, Willow Street and Washington Boro.
Our first Parade of Homes entry (Spring 2005) was in Lancaster – in a custom home built by EG Stoltzfus homes. Since then, we have had a half dozen other POH entries in Lancaster county.
