Two Camp Hill, PA Garages Coated with Uncommon Blend
Blue really pops in the Union blend of decorative chips!
Union Blend of Chips Used on Two Camp Hill Garage Floors
In the middle of March 2024, our Pennsylvania crew coated two garages (both located in Camp Hill, PA) back to back with the same blend of decorative chips: our Union blend. While many of our garage floor coatings customers choose more neutral colors (such as Somerset or Adams, which both predominately feature gray, white, or black) we have the occasional homeowner that wants a blend that more closely matches their home's exterior colors, or one that contains their favorite color. These two homeowners went against the grain and chose Union, featuring blue, black, white, and grey.
In a typical month, STRONGHOLD FLOORS only does a handful of floors outside of our common blends (indicated with asteriks on our decorative chip page). When we get the chance to coat a garage with an atypical blend such as Union, we LOVE to see the finished result and the homeowner's vision come to life.
The Union blend pairs especially well with wooden walls (pictured below)! However, like most of our eighteen unique decorative chip blends, it can work quite well in almost any setting. STRONGHOLD FLOORS offers two other blends that feature a shade of blue: Montgomery and Lycoming, both pictured below.

One of these Camp Hill garages required an extra day of preparation, as one of the saw cuts in their floor was damaged. After repairing it and give the materials a day to set up, STRONGHOLD FLOORS was able to coat the floor. Both floors used medium gray epoxy as the base coat with clear, polyaspartic polyurea as the top coat. 48 grit aluminum was added in the top coat for traction.
