Sunroom and Residential Area Concrete Coatings
STRONGHOLD FLOORS coated the sunroom and residential area of this new home in Linthicum, Maryland - just outside of Baltimore. The space actually used to be a detached garage. The homeowner (a former commercial coatings customer of ours!) was in the process of upgrading the space, including adding another floor.
The coatings project was divided into two sections, as sunroom coatings require a double broadcast of decorative chips due to UV exposure. Our Maryland crews were able to complete the entire project in a total of three days, beginning on Wednesday and ending on Friday. The sunroom portion required the full three days, while the other residential section took only two.
The homeowner chose our Lebanon blend of decorative chips on medium gray epoxy. This blend isn't as popular as our other blends (such as Adams or Somerset) for garages (it's more popular for basements), but it still looks incredible! The sun shining in the sunroom over the chips really brings out the blend's unique colors in the pictures below.
